On Monday, April 6, 2009, P4aC will be hosting a general volunteer meeting that is open to all. At the meeting, we plan to talk about our upcoming events over the next couple months including out beer pong tourney and our guest bartending events.

In addition, we will be having a feature non-profit present to us and share information about the work that they do and how we can help.

We met again on March 23rd and continued our planning process for our future events. Here are our meeting notes:

Guest Bartending
- We have a guest bartending event that we are planning.
- We are looking to host it in April
- at least 10% of the bar sales will go to charity, in addition to at least 50% of the guest bartender’s tips
- We are currently looking for a venue to host this event, and bartenders to guest bartend (no experience is necessary)

Beer Pong tournament
- We are planning a Beer Pong Tournament
- The event will be taking place around the end of April/Beginning of May time period
- We are currently looking for a venue to host this event, and people who would like to participate in the tournament

Iliana from An Act of Kindness will be presenting to us to talk about the work that her non-profit does. We will also be discussing our next event, and finalizing some logistics for it.

Here is a quick recap of the Party 4 a Cause volunteer meeting that we held on Monday, February 23 2009.

- Our next big event will be a Wine Tasting or a Beer Pong Tournament to be held in the April/May time period (details are to come)
- For this event, we may be working with a non-profit that is close to one of our volunteers - An Act of Kindness
- Our next volunteer meeting will be Monday, March 9th at the same place.
- Most important thing, we need a VENUE to host a wine tasting and a beer pong tournament.

College kids love to party…That’s pretty much a known fact. So do the people at Party 4 a Cause. So we figured, let’s combine it all. Party 4 a Cause is hitting colleges in the New York City area, and have them get involved in our charitable partying ways.

We’re having our first meeting next Thursday, January 22nd. The meeting starts at 7pm. It’s going to be an intro meeting so that everyone can meet, and so that we can get some ideas about what parties to plan for 2009. The meeting is at:
